23...

I'm turning 23 on the 23rd .. I'm half way through completing the whole set of the 46-human chromosomes .. Half way through becoming a human being ..

I have this weird formula of my birthday ..
I was born in 1985
1+9+8+5 = 23
I was born on the 23rd
2+3 = 5
I was born in May the fifth month !!

What am i doing today ? I get to spend the day at the delivery ward in our hospital amongst the screaming women and the wailing babies. Don't feel bad for me, at least i get to see who joins our world and my humble-self on the same day.

It's been quite a long time since i've attended a really good play that made me want to go back to stage theater and think all the way home about why do we make it so hard on ourselves ? .. why do we let materialism take the lead and control our lives ? Or is there really a plan to let go of our humanity ? .. Is there a price on Humanity if it was held in an Auction ?
I won't say more now .. A detailed critique is on the way in the next few hours .. you just have to catch it first.

It's a great play, written be Mikhail Roman and directed by Hani sami in his senior project.. Well done Hani !
The Cast is amazing .. Applause to Mina, Eddie, Mariam and Noha.

The show runs from May 21st till the 23rd on the Falaki Studio Theatre (the last production there) at 7:45 PM.
Entrance is FREE (Non-AUCians, please bring any form of ID)
