Death of a heart...

What's been happening in the past few months would have only led to what we have witnessed yesterday with bleeding hearts .. I have been following all kinds of media, social, written and television, over the past months and I confess I was shorthand on having an earlier statement. But I was in a denial state of mind, capitalizing on our good natured hearts. But it seems something has died in our hearts and I was wrong.

When you see and hear supposedly religious figures who lead people in prayers and lead them to believe that what they are doing and about to do is a form of Jihad for God's sake, one should expect violent clashes with the authorities are about to happen one time or the other. Especially if there are guns involved. Guns in the hands of the untrained brainwashed.

The matter is way far from Morsi , but very close to a brotherhood of terrorism that has a long history of violence and violent supporters. A brotherhood hiding behind religious slogans, women and orphan kids. A brotherhood that had the chance to power and failed on so many levels that people took the streets in June 30th and peacefully overthrew a regime that has proven its failure day after the other. A discussion of a military coup is empty with the support from the civilians. But, the arrogance of a brotherhood has led to this point .. The point of no return.

This point was glorified on state and private media aided by weakness of the interim government that offered vain proposals and weak peaceful solution to the situation with no futuristic view. Both parties are to be blamed and if you support one or the other, blood is on your hands.

Blood is on all of our hands, supporters on both sides and stand aside viewers.. We're all drenched with blood as long  as we're all living in the same country and holding the same nationality. As long as there are some of us falling dead by the minute.

The death toll is rising and I do not see it stopping any time soon. It is definitely the time to pick a side if you haven't already. Deaths in both sides are definitely condemned. We're human beings after all. The soul is priceless but has to be paid for the sake of the idea and its time for everyone to rethink his/hers. And rethink if such idea is precious enough to pay for with your soul.

I have chosen the side of reason .. Violence needs to stop. Negotiations cannot be made with the brotherhood leaders who are sought after for trial. The younger generation of the brotherhood need to collect themselves and stand up, and start building their political game together with the other parties. Out there, It is not a war where the winner takes all, It's a country, the lives of people that shouldn't be toyed with for power or fame.

Pick wisely.
