جنينة الأسماك ..

لا أعلم ما الذي دفعني لإختيار هذا الفيلم بالذات .. كنت في حالة يرثى لها و أبغى راحة من حياتي الطاحنة .. كنت أبحث عن قصة أندمج بين مشاهدها و أنسى همومي الخاصة و كان فيلم جنينة الأسماك إختيار سئ للغاية إن كانت غايتك القصة.
لكنه حقق المطلوب لي برغم كل شئ.. فقد تناسيت همومي برغم كل شئ و انخرطت في التابعة بغرض الفضول..
أجرؤ على القول أنني بقيت مع ثلاثة آخرين - في قاعة السينما - حتى النهاية. أحببت الحالة التي يدور حولها الفيلم .. حديثه عن الخوف .. جنينة الأسماك التي تبدو من أعلى كحياتنا بدهاليزها المعقدة التي تتوه إذا اقتحمتها و هناك الكثير منا يكتفي بالمشاهدة و المتابعة من بعيد .. الخوف من الإقدام .. الإندماج .. الخوف من الحياة المعقدة اللا بديل لها .. الغربة.

كنت أحب لو وجدت شخصية تشبهني في الفيلم تؤثر في و أتأثر بها , لكن خاب أملي ..

لم أحب كثيرا تجربة التجريب في السينما و إستخدام الأسلوب الوثائقي في عرض خلفيات الشخصيات و أعتبره فقر خيال أو قلة حيلة لا إبداع .. الفيلم يعرض على أساس أنه فيلم روائي طويل لكنه لا يمت للرواية بصلة و أظن ذلك هو السبب وراء انصراف أغلب المشاهدين أثناء حضوري الفيلم.

شخصية " ليلى " غير واضحة المعالم - كأغلب شخصيات الفيلم - و أظنه إنعكاس لحالة اللا هوية التي تسود الأعمال الفكرية هذه الأيام. أداء هند صبري للشخصية أظنه أضاف للشخصية شخصية..
" د. يوسف " شخصية أظن المؤلف أفرط في تغريبها حتى أفقدك أي صلة بها و أداء عمرو واكد الراكد ساهم في هذا.

لا قصة في الفيلم .. مجرد مشاهدة من بعيد و خوف من الإقتراب من شخصيات الفيلم .. تلصص على حياتهم المعقدة في خلال يومين.. لا حبكة و لا عقدة و لا أي من مكونات القصة. ناهيك عن استخدام أسلوب السرد بصوت الشخص الثالث !!

مشهد السينما الصامتة مبتذل للغاية و غير موظف في الفيلم جيدا إذ لا داع له . و لا أعلم لماذا قدم بهذه الطريقة التهكمية الساذجة. حين أرى أفلام السينما الصامتة القديمة انبهر بما فعل القدماء و تحايلهم لتقديم الصورة المتحركة و أشعر بالتطور الذي حدث في الفن السابع منذ ذلك الوقت.

لست ناقدا فنيا محترفا لأنقد المخرج و رؤيته .. كل ما يمكنني قوله هو إن كان قصده إرباك المشاهد للفيلم و جعله يعيد النظر لحياتنا من منظور أعلى و نتجاوز حاجز الخوف, فقد نجح في إرباك المشاهد و لكن هل جعله يعيد النظر ؟؟

سكر يا بنات ...A Must See

Sukkar Banat " Caramel " is absolutely a treat for the eye. The colors are amazing and the angles of the Camera with the use of reflections of lights rather than the direct ones merged with the sensual eye of the movie's director: Nadine Labaki brought us this delightful movie that i personally enjoyed and would recommend it to everyone else.

There isn't a lot of dialogue in the movie or incredibly catching phrases, it's more about the picture itself and that's the beauty of such movie.
The lack of a stable storyline or a plot wasn't very encouraging for me at first before i got hooked up and enjoyed this overview of the lives of these women and for a long time i haven't got totally immersed into a new arabic movie. I recalled what i've always felt when watching our great old movies, the magic of the cinema and really " mesh 7ate2dar te3'amad 3eneik "

The idea behind having newly discovered actors to play most of the roles was very smart indeed. It made you feel more connected to the characters displayed. you're find yourself in the movie especially if you're a girl. There's so much emotions that only a woman could absorb well. Sweet and sour is hardly a guy's thing !

The ending was so abrupt which brings me back to the weak plot. The story lacked a climax or a peak in the events, it's merely an intrude to the lives of these women with a very skilled camera and a creative director which makes you forget this weak point and live the experience.

I loved all the characters and the actors playing them but i personally loved LiLi the delusional- probably Alzheimer - old lady and almost cried in one of her scenes that was beautifully and powerfully done. It was so real and i was shocked when i found out that the actress who played LiLi " Aziza Semaan " wasn't actually acting. She IS a schizophrenic whom Nadine kept filming and had a lot of footage of her that she edited into the scenes!

The music score is sensational as everything else in the movie and i loved the two songs which add to the semi-plot of the movie.

The movie made me realize - as a man - what women might be going through because of us basically but to a greater extent what they do to themselves . The demeaning of Women in the whole world is not just a male thing, Women are to be blamed too. It always takes two...

It's definitely a worth to see movie ...
